These diahwasher machines really works well.
Good washing results. I don’t think its coming into stock anymore from this brand, but reviews for this machine should apply to most of the seimens or bosch brand dishwasher. But i bought it a was much cheaper. If one is fadeup with house maids or does not like there work. These dishwshers will be a very big help to your house maker. One still ends up washing big pots thru hands. But once a day with this machine all other pots etc can be cleaned. My parents were not at all in agreement to purchase this, as we have seen only the big commercial onces in temples or offices, where the cleaning results were not good. But home machines are very good in cleaning.
For extending the inlet pipe lenght, i used the converter(both side threaded 3/4 inch to1/2 inch) and faucet pipe.. Pictures are attached. Seperate pic of connector is of bent one as i did not have another straight on to show, but one can get the idea.
Also connected thru v gaurd v500 stablizer.
Bought a plastic adjustable stand for 280 rs in local market, which looks much better.
For inlet water connection, now i have it connected thru spun filter (pre filter used in ROs, basically branched out from RO filter itself for my purpose, as for a few weeks in between there were lots of dirt particles came in).
Edit: after 4 months, cleaning results are still very good. We have been using the fortune diswasher detergent and rinse aid with very good results and very economical too. Last months fortune detergent is very thin and powderish, which is not that good, meaning after getting wet sometines small quantity is still left in ditergent tray like paste. Will try one more packet, before giving another brand a try.
For our use, we wash all the pots under water using the steel scrubber to remove all the food particle, before placing it in dishwasher.. Which takes approx 6-7 mins and another 6-7 mins for placing in diswasher, unless i’m there do that parallaly :).. Because we clean the pots beforehand, there has been no need for cleaning the dishwasher filters. It is like new.
Also, we can fit in lot more utensils if they are prerinsed. See pics for that.
Also, using the Eco mode plus higenic plus option..removing pots from diswasher takes about 2 mins max.
One rinse aid bottle will last about 4 months. Salt 2 months, detergent 45 days.. So on avg consumable costs approx 250 Rs, a month if dishwasher is used once a day and occasianally twice. This is with fortune brand.
And probably 300 to 450 rs for electricity, depending upon area and slab.( did you know the more electricity usage the more it is charged, just like income taxes, but here the high rates will apply to all the units consumed).

Dependable machine. Not v happy with demo, or service.
We have been using this for little less than 3 months. So far, machine is dependable
Thalis are difficult to fit anywhere, as the spacing is only meant for plates. Removing one star for that.
Rack for long knives and ladles is of limited size, so if you use one cooking ladle for non-stick and one for regular kadhai, you cannot fit in more than one long knife.
Cutlery basket is so large it takes up 1/4th of the lower drawer. For 11 place settings, 100 odd sppons forks knives are hardly going to be needed, a 1/2 or 2/3rd size cutlery basket would be a lot better matched to size of machine.
Installation was prompt, all the water pipes and drain pipes of previous machine were already installed at the spot so it was 10 minutes end to end. But the demo quality was below standards : guy focussed on trying to sell us a stand and a plastic cover. Once it became clear we were not buying these, he wrote out the bill for the connector installed by him, and went away without explaining most of the functions. Did not explain how to increase or decrease the rinse aid dosage, did not describe the wash programs, had to be asked before he showed the fastening and unfastening of salt container.

Should have bought it sooner
This was my first large size appliance purchase from Amazon. My first concern was how do they deliver these appliances. Normally we would go to a store near our house and ask them to send the product on a rickshaw. This guy would also carry it inside the house. I live in old delhi. My house is not on a road. It’s in a lane which is big enough for a rickshaw but not an eco van or a commercial auto. I was worried that they will leave the machine on road and I’ll have to hunt for a rickshaw or hire labour to carry it to my house. I decided to have it delivered to my brother’s house which is near by, and on a road. I bought this at 17 percent discount, plus with the hdfc cash back offer. I scheduled it on the day I was available to take delivery. On the day, I got a call from Amazon delivery to ask me if I was available. The dishwasher was delivered in a commercial four wheel auto. And they were carrying a trolley with them. Which means I could Have ordered it for my home address and we could have early wheeled it to my door. The trolley is the one which can be used on stairs. So for people who live on floors, this trolley can be used to carry appliance to first or second floor. But please be ready to help the delivery guy.
The dishwasher came in brown carton, like you get from shops. Not in plastic wrap, like I’ve read in few reviews. The delivery guy also gave me the number of Siemens call centre for installation.
I hired a rickshaw and took the machine to my house.
I’ve read reviews with complaints that the machine was not installed or delayed by the company. I’m very good with electronics. I can install these machine on my own. So, I’m not concerned about installation. Although I got text, and emails from Amazon offering assistance if Siemens fails to do installation.
I got some major changes done in my kitchen to make space for it. Also got plumbing done. This is not a company’s job. Plumbing and drainage must be ready before a technician is send to you for installation.
Also did new electric wiring since my existing wiring is old and I don’t want to risk a short circuit or burn out.
I’ve ordered fortune five in one detergent. Please read the manual carefully before using the dishwasher. Since my tap water is soft and I’m using 5in 1 detergent, I’ve changed hardness setting to 0 and rinse aid setting to 0.
You get finish detergent startup kit with this machine. Have not yet used it. I’m happy with fortune.
Dishwasher is excellent. Was thinking why I did not bought it sooner.

O! I’ve added a sediment filter before the inlet water pipe to make sure that the dishwaher’s filter won’t get choked easily.
And with careful use this machine will last you a lifetime.

Awesome wash
Thanks to Amazon for on time delivery and safe delivery of Machine ,it cleans utensils nicely only thing is that I rinse utensils before machine wash for hygiene purpose…but once I kept plates and oily utensils to see whether it comes clean … so
the result was very clean utensils ..I never tried finish dishwasher powder as my brother also have dishwasher ..he suggested me to use fortune dishwasher powder..so no tension of utensils now…if you wish this machine go for it..nice machine with very less noise.
